I am from West Yorkshire, and completed a Physiology and Sports Science degree at Leeds University, before training at the British School of Osteopathy.  I was exposed to osteopathy as a teenager and like many others was ‘wowed’ by its effects.

I believe that the benefit of osteopathic treatment is that it helps to determine the cause of dysfunction through an understanding of human mechanics.  Treatment therefore, aims to restore and maintain normal body function unique to the patient.

My background in sports science has taught me the importance of appropriate exercise to enable the patient to maintain health, and therefore provide a holistic and preventative treatment approach.  I am currently in working with Wharfedale Rugby Union Football Club.
